In 1990 Pat Shay purchased and incorporated company with the goal of using his extensive background of extinguisher sales and service to grow the company. For ten years Pat worked to create a business customers could trust and count on. In January of 2000, Pat purchased the entire business and focused his energy on customer needs which was the reta... il sales and service sector, rather than the wholesale industry. With this change of focus, Evergreen Fire and Safety's service growth doubled between 2000 an 2004. Rapid growth made space a challenge, so in 2004 Evergreen moved from leasing a basement from a business to the present storefront he now operates. To keep up with demand, Pat has added additional office and retail staff. Our mission is: "Every customer is equally important. From large companies to a single certification charge.
