About Event Genius
In 2008, immersed in the Leeds music scene, Event Genius and Ticket Arena founder Reshad Hossenally launched the ticketarena.co.uk website from his university bedroom to provide music fans and promoters with a better way to buy and sell tickets online. Over the years that followed, the business developed its Event Genius platform allowing organisers to streamline and simplify their ticketing and event management needs, first specialising in clubbing before expanding into live music, festivals, food & drink and sports. Whilst Reshad was busy in Leeds, 200 miles away in London in 2011, Festicket founders Zack Sabban and Jonathan Younes were organising a group trip to the world famous Coachella festival.
