Established over 30 years ago, our closed flock consists of over 100 ewes and by carefully selecting growth an... d confirmation traits in our breeding programme, most of our ewes are in the top 1% of recorded Suffolks. 2016 saw an Essie stand at the NSA Scotland and the NSA National. 2015 saw Essie winning the prestigious UK wide Sheep Innovator of the Year Award presented at the British Farming Awards. At NSA Highland Sheep Essie had top price for a pair of gimmers in sale and 1st prize Suffolks. The Black Isle Show presented its Overall Reserve Champion Award to Essie and several other top awards. Our belief is that naturally grown sheep on a grass based system produce a superior, better quality product. Our progress in the last few years speaks for itself.
