Essential Spirit was created by Marina Vundum who started to make soap 18 years ago as a result of the encouragement of one of her reflexology/massage clients. It is an award winning company based in the beautiful Dumfriesshire countryside, just one mile away from Samye Ling Tibetan Buddhist Monastery, well within the blessings of this special and sacred mandala. Des Watts, Marina's husband, joined Essential Spirit quite a few years ago now and together they produce luxurious handmade soaps using only natural and organic ingredients. With a background of over 27 years experience in aromatherapy and therapeutic bodywork, Marina's expertise and passion has grown into a skincare range that includes organic face creams, body lotions, massage and bath oils, natural perfumes/roll on remedies. .
