Escapades was created in 1996 by French natives who realized that there was a strong demand for personalized assistance and direction from travelers who were looking for insiders tips and expert assistance when planning their travel itineraries in France. Capitalizing on years of experience and outstanding contacts in France, Escapades is now a lea... der in the United states for special programs and customized packages for individuals and small groups traveling to France. New destinations such as London and Italy (still in process of being implemented on the internet) were recently added at the request of a growing number of our clients. Because these are our only destinations, we are able to provide up-close-and-personal knowledge of these unique countries. We sell our products and services directly to individuals and through a fast growing network of travel agencies in the USA and Canada (more than 1500 deal with us on a regular basis). Strong believers in the power and flexibility of the internet - as long as it is used to facilitate the personal contact with our customers and NOT to replace it - we were also the first travel company in the United States to implement a web site, right from the start in May 1996.
