ERRATICA is a London-based performing arts company that creates diverse musical spectacles both within the UK and internationally. Our productions have included black-box stagings of Baroque opera, new, collaboratively-devised commissions for unaccompanied voices, mash-ups of contemporary and early music, and site-specific multimedia installations.... Our work combines an emphasis on inter-disciplinary collaboration, and the creative use of technology, with an overriding interest in the emotional and narrative power of music. ERRATICA seeks to interrogate and deconstruct the concept of 'opera,' and relate it to parallel performance disciplines in avant-garde theatre, dance and performance art. Alongside our productions, the company is engaged in researching and developing a process for experimental live vocal performance, called Body/Opera, with our permanent ensemble company of singers.
