ERMCO was founded in 1962 by Edward M. Gossett as a small service company called Electrical Repair and Maintenance Company. The company experienced rapid growth throughout the 60's. In 1970 , ERMCO merged with Maddox becoming business partners, a partnership that lasted until Ed's death in 1996. Jim Maddox retired as President in 1998, when Darrell Gossett became President of the company.
