Equity Exchange

Equity Exchange is a member owned cooperative that was founded in 1919 in Perryton, Texas. Since that time, the organization has grown to include 21 grain facilities, 10 retail agronomy centers, 15 24-hour fuel stations, and a 30,000 square foot distribution center to provide specific products for the locations. Equity is a member of the Equity Mar... keting Alliance grain marketing group based in Enid, Oklahoma. Through this partnership, Equity is able to maximize its member's profitability by spreading the ever present production risks across more than 70 elevators and by creating a synergistic relationship with all facilities marketing grain as one unit. Major commodities include wheat, corn, grain sorghum and soybeans. Agronomy operations cover a wide swath through the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles and southwest Kansas. Liquid and dry fertilizer is distributed from the company's rail location in Liberal, Kansas to not only Equity's retail locations but to other retail outlets in the region. Liquid fertilizer and anhydrous ammonia are also distributed from the retail centers or delivered directly to the customer in transport loads. Crop protection products and seed are delivered to locations or directly to customers from the distribution warehouse in Perryton. Equity's Energy Services division delivers fuel and lubes to producers across the region. With sales personnel placed around the region, trucking companies, convenience stores and others have become a major portion of the Energy Services' portfolio and help to balance the environmental variances on the production ag side.
