Founded 42 years ago by our late founder, Jim Vong, we began our foray into the investing space by providing financial data to large financial institutions in Malaysia. One day, an elderly gentleman approached our founder sobbing. He wondered why and how has his retirement savings been wiped out the stock market. Jim, despite being a financially literate person, could not find the words to comfort the grieving man. That experience kindled the desire for the creation of an education arm in EquitiesTracker International. Our education arm is in the business of providing retail investors the ability to even the playing field in the stock market.
