After the initial months of development and network testing, EnterAct began taking its first customers in January of 1996. During its infancy, EnterAct offered only the most popular services including dial-up Internet access and web page hosting. Over the next few years, EnterAct expanded its product line and service offering to meet the changing needs of the consumer. Included among the additions are dedicated line connections, large managed dial-up services, VPN solutions, and Internet consulting. In February of 1999, EnterAct merged with 21st Century Telecom, becoming the Business Services Group of that company.
