ENTA is a voluntary sector, non-profit making training organisation, which provides courses, aimed at under-targeted groups in Birmingham. All our courses have been developed to break down those barriers that prevent some people accessing training and employment. We run free prevocational and vocational training programmes designed for: Unemployed... young people and adults People with physical and sensory disabilities Homeless youth and adults People recovering from a mental health illness People with learning diffculties and others who are wanting to get into training or employment We provide information, advice and guidance on vocational and career paths, a range of courses including introductory courses and follow-on courses leading to vocational qualifications up to NVQ level 2. Students' age range at ENTA is from 16 to 64 years of age. During the year to March 2007, we provided training for people from disadvantaged communities and engaged them on a range of first-rung courses leading to further training and employment.
