About Energy Conservation Training
The Energy Conservation Training Company (ECONTC) was founded in 2009 in Portland Oregon. ECONTC became a Division of Applied Proactive Technologies, Inc. (APT) a Springfield, Massachusetts-based company in the fall of 2010. Our programs are designed to help students understand how to evaluate a building's energy use, identify measures necessary to reduce energy consumption, and how to properly make those changes. ECONTC has created an effective training system; a learning experience that combines traditional classroom instruction with hands-on field training and web based curriculum. Jeff Catlin founded the Energy Conservation Training Company (ECONTC) in February of 2009. ECONTC is a BPI Test Center and a RESNET HERS Rater Training and Rating Provider. In three years ECONTC has helped hundreds of individuals earn over 1000 professional certifications in the energy efficiency industry.Explore more
