We are really passionate about dance and performance and take great interest in all our costumers' achievements and adventures. If we can be just a small part in your successes, it really is a huge privilege. Encore is run by Louise who used to dance as a child and still does as an adult - but only for fun. Louise has a zest for dance and performan... ce and wanted to do something she adores greatly. After having taught as a secondary school teacher for thirteen years, she decided to take a leap into something which she could really get stuck in to. And so was born Encore in Herne Bay, Kent! Louise is knowledgeable in many dance areas and as well as wearing pointe shoes herself, she has been trained with Ballet Pro who are the UK suppliers of Grishko along with Capezio and Freed of London to be able to professionally fit pointe shoes. We stock many of the most prestigious suppliers including Bloch, Freed, Capezio, Sansha, Grishko, RC, Roch Valley, Arabesque, Danse Dezines, Siberian Swan and Topline.
