Encore Construction

Except for three visits, we went through this whole process while living out of town. My first impression of Justin was that I was dealing with a straightforward, honest, very trustworthy person who is good for his word. He bent over backwards to make this process work for us within our very difficult circumstances [Katrina victims; Ed.] He was ext... remely flexible with us. During our three visits, he made his entire team available to us because we only had 3-4 hour windows to work in. We sat down in his office for our initial meeting before we ever signed on the dotted line and mapped out every detail. Justin was helpful to point out what was considered an upgrade (very little!) and even gave us a good guess at how much it would cost us if we wanted to proceed with it. He let us take out one wall and add a wall somewhere else that wasnt on the plan. He and John were very accommodating. The whole experience went smoothly. We knew what to expect at the end of that meeting. The quality and the amenities that Justin offers as standards in his homes are considered upgrades that you have to pay extra for with other builders. One of those is finished trim in every room and every around every window. You just get more for the money with Encore. Another reason we went with Justin and Encore is that they are one of the very few who build with real wood floors. It comes down to this. A lot of builders can talk the talk, but Justin walks-the-walk! We have built other custom homes prior to working with Encore. We were living out of town at the time we started building this house. My husband Dick saw another Encore home and loved it. We knew we had to call and talk to Justin. Our realtor saw the house and told us that we could not have that quality that it was out of our price range; in fact, it was not! The experience was night and day from the other processes.
