Empowerment Resource Center (ERC) is a nonprofit, community-based organization established in 2003 and incorporated in 2006 with 501(c)(3) status, dedicated to providing comprehensive health-related programs and services that improve quality of life for underserved communities. ERC delivers a broad spectrum of integrated services addressing HIV and... sexually transmitted infection prevention, testing, and treatment; reproductive health and family planning; substance abuse treatment and recovery; mental health therapy and psychiatric evaluation with medication management; social services and primary medical case management; and client advocacy and navigation services. The organization operates multiple specialized service delivery platforms designed to maximize community reach and clinical capacity, including the Comprehensive Intervention Clinica fully equipped STI screening and acute treatment facility offering laboratory specimen collection and processing, private medical examinations, immunizations, risk reduction counseling, family planning services, and health education workshopsand ERC on the M.O.V.E, a mobile outreach vehicle fleet that extends services directly into communities. ERC's clinical operations are registered with the Georgia Medical Composite Board, function as a participating safety-net clinic under the Georgia Volunteer Health Care Program, and hold national recognition as an STI and Family Planning clinic under the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration 340B program.
