About Employment Development Centre
Our mission is to assist employment disadvantaged individuals to overcome attitudinal, social and educational barriers to employment by enhancing and increasing their employment potential within the community. The Employment Development Program is one of six Work Activity programs located across Nova Scotia. Individuals wanting to participate in the program can be referred by agencies in the community or the individuals themselves. The Employment Development Program is governed by the Horizon Achievement Centre and jointly funded by Employment Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services via the Canada Nova Scotia Labour Market Agreement. what we doExplore more
