For the past several years Sam was Chief Operating Officer at Cecilia Health (formerly Fit4D), a tech-ena... bled diabetes education and coaching business that served health plan, employer and pharmaceutical customers to improve outcomes of people with diabetes across the US. His leadership helped the company triple the customer and revenue base in two years. Prior to Cecilia Health, Sam helped Everyday Health, a leading online health information company, to acquire several pharma-oriented digital media companies and build a new data-driven health system marketing business unit. His work contributed to the successful IPO and subsequent sale of the company to J2 Global, as well as the spinoff of the Tea Leaves Health business to Welltok. At Greenway Health, a leading electronic health record (EHR) company, Sam developed and grew the clinical trial recruitment, medication adherence and population health businesses as internal startup business units. He was a member of the leadership team from IPO through sale of the company 15 months later to Vista Equity Partners. Sam holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and Finance from The Wharton School and a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
