Embrace Therapy

Renu Mehta Cheng, PT, MPT, CKTP, owner of Embrace Therapy, LLC, is a New Jersey-licensed physical therapist with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University. Renu has worked in a wide variety of settings, including Early Intervention, school-based, hospitals, private clinics, homecare and outpatient clinics for children and adul... ts. She holds certifications in Kinesio Taping and Cuevas Medek Exercise (CME, Medek) and speaks Spanish fluently. She worked one on one with Ramon Cuevas and has been certified in Kinesio Taping for many years. Renu founded Embrace Therapy, LLC with the goal of creating a place where children with developmental disabilities can receive therapy in a comfortable and nurturing environment. This allows families to be a part of therapy in a location where they feel at home. Renu wants to ensure that families feel confident in the education and training provided. She incorporates her training in Cuevas Medek Exercise (CME, Medek) and Kinesio Taping to enhance each childs potential to excel and achieve his or her best, ensuring that the children have fun while working hard, and enabling the children to feel strong, confident, and capable in their new skills. In her spare time, Renu enjoys volunteering for Peak Potential, Inc., an adaptive Rock Climbing program for children with physical disabilities.
