Elizabeth Dexter Interiors creates homes that feel comfortable and livable, yet also finished and refined. Our focus is on designing homes that reflect the preferences and style of each client while respecting each client's established budget. We manage projects throughout all stages of the design process and believe that close coordination and col... laboration with architects, contractors, craftspeople, and vendors enhances the quality of our work. Locating special antiques and utilizing artisans who provide customized fabrics, rugs, furniture, and finishes make each project unique. Elizabeth "Lizzy" Dexter grew up in Westchester County, NY and is a graduate of Hackley School and Boston College. After graduation she joined the faculty of the Brearley School where she taught in the lower division. Later she enrolled in the New York School of Interior Design to study interior design with a focus on residential interiors. Lizzy spent eleven years at the interior design firm Cullman & Kravis and was named Design Partner in 2009. She has designed and managed the interior decoration of residences throughout the country, including country homes in Connecticut, New Jersey, and Westchester apartments in New York City; and vacation homes in Telluride, West Virginia, Santa Barbara, and Maui. Lizzy lives with her husband and two children on the upper west side of Manhattan and spends her summers, weekends, and holidays in Bedford, NY and Madison, CT.Read More
