The Eletra was born from a Joint Venture between FAE Tecnologia, a company from Cear founded at 2010, and the Hexing Group, from China, that pursues more than 20 years of experience on the development and manufacture of electric Energy Meters, been one of the main providers of products and smart measuring systems in the world, marketing, on the yea... r of 2015, 12 millions units. The group has offices in Peru, Netherlands, South Africa and Bangladesh, as well as factories in China, Indonesia, Tunisia, Paquistan and Brazil. The new factory unit was contructed on the km 16 from BR-116, on the district of Pedras, it occupies a field of 36 thousand m2 and has about 800 employes. The Hexing Group invested in the factory, the only in Brazil, about R$52.5 millions. As said by the Director-President of Eletra, Danilo Coimba, the Eusébio was chosen because, currently, is one of the most promising cities in Cear. In addition, there is its proximity with the capital, the seaport and the airport, also has accessible routes, and of course the tax incentives. "Since we started the negotiations to come to Eusébio, we were well received and had all the support from the City Council to make this dream come true", he revealed. The Eletra, besides the hiring of third party general services companies, like cleaning and feeding, acquire, in the city, pallets, cardboard boxes, plastics, screws, also the hiring of maintaining services. For the future, according to Danilo, the company mounted already a third hangar, that it will serve as a possible extension. The company has plans to enter in the market of the "Smart Grid", the area to be explored would be the distribution automation, distributed generation and lightning public automation.
