The ETWALL , EGGINTON & BURNASTON EXPRESS is a monthly magazine which is produced, published and distributed entirely by local volunteers who give their time entirely free of charge. Since 1992 the managing body has been incorporated as a non profit making company limited by guarantee. It aims to foster a community spirit by keeping people living i... n the three villages up to date with news of local activities and providing a comprehensive diary of forthcoming events. The Express includes reports of local sporting and other events, the meetings of the three parish councils, the activities of local societies and updates from the schools and pre-schools in the area. There is a quiz to test your knowledge each month and the local churches take it in turn to write a piece for the magazine which is called the Epistle. Contributions are always welcome. The magazine is on sale in local shops and is also available on an annual subscription in which case it is delivered to the reader's door by one of our team of volunteer distributors.
