EDM Realty Corp began business in 1978 with offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles and is a fully integrated owner and operator of neighborhood/community and regional shopping centers, residential apartment complexes, and other commercial properties. EDM has successfully owned and developed properties throughout California, Washington & other sta... tes. Along with its affiliate, EDM Investments, it has enhanced cash flow and maximized appreciation in more than 70 properties totaling over five million square feet of leasable area. Once a property is acquired, the ERC team of multi-disciplined professionals perform all management, leasing and other operational activities "in-house". The company's policy is to acquire undervalued assets and initiate an aggressive development, repositioning and leasing program, as required by the specifics of each property. In addition to the acquisition and repositioning program,in 2008, EDM initiated a lending program as a means to achieve above market returns on excess cash. We have since made loans on a variety of property types, information on which can be found under the "Lending Program" tab.
