In from Indianapolis for the last week and I had a crew representing from coast to coast...NY to San Diego to Texas. Had some wonderful BBQ right up the street at Old Southern BBQ and found it nec... essary to add to the palate with something sweet. Even though it was 5 below, we knew some ice cream would hit the spot. We we're greeted by San, a super nice guy who kept up with our many requests for samples. The most challenging thing...deciding which flavor to choose. The Apple Pie with real fruit and crust was a 2 time winner from our SD and TX contingency. I on the other had to grab a scoop of Peanut Butter Cup and a scoop of Pistachio. Both were great with big chunks of peanut butter cup and full pistachios in a rich creamy ice cream. The highlight, the waffle bowl was a good choice for some and I opted for the waffle cone. Either way it was one of the freshest waffle cones I've had in years... Which only confirmed what I knew walking in the door. Fresh made waffle cone aro... The shakes are pretty. My daughter had a cookies and cream ice cream and she loved it! definitely coming back. This is terrific spot for excellent ice cream. It had been a year of more since our last visit here and the ice cream tasted better than ever. We shared several scoops after our dinner at the wonderful restaurant next door. We ate from a cup but our friends ate it from their waffle cone The loved the icecream and the cone.
