Ediciones Urano was founded in 1983, in Barcelona (Spain). We have houses in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Venezuela, the US, Uruguay and Peru. We publish both fiction and non-fiction, in Spanish and Catalan. Our catalogue is primarily based on titles, the rights of which we have acquired from foreign editors. At the same time, our backlist a... lso consists of some interesting titles by Spanish and South American authors for which we have the translation rights. Several of these titles have been transferred to countries in Latin America, Europe and Asia. At Ediciones Urano, we firmly believe in giving our books a second life by publishing them in other languages, so as to promote talented local authors.
