I am Lisa Cardinale, president and owner of Edgewater Consulting, LLC. As a former Senior State Aid Planning Specialist with Questar III BOCES, I have extensive experience guiding school districts through the many intricate State Aid claim processes to maximize their reimbursement, while maintaining full compliance with state regulations. After 7 y... ears with BOCES, I started Edgewater Consulting in 2008 and am located approximately 50 miles northwest of Albany NY, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. By traveling to districts and utilizing the advantages of communication technology, I am able to develop and maintain reliable and dedicated partnerships with districts to help them increase financial resources to better serve the growing needs of their students. Though my background provides me with expertise in all areas of State Aid, I have focused on the complex area of State Aid reimbursement for students with disabilities. Through a variety of customized contract options, I work with the Business Office and Special Education Department of public schools to recover past and process current State Aid claims, and provide those departments with training and support to achieve a full understanding of this complicated process.
