About Edge, CPA
To me, being a CPA is about building relationships with my clients and being a resource to you throughout the year, not just at tax time. 2. Why did you become a CPA? When I graduated with my Accounting Degree from Old Dominion University (Norfolk, VA) in 1995, I did not plan on going into public accounting. However, that was where the jobs were. I worked for two CPA firms which allowed me to gain valuable tax and bookkeeping experience. When my son was born in 1999 I was very blessed to become a stay at home Mom. My daughter was born a few years later and I continued to be at home. When she started school, I realized I needed something to occupy my time, but I still wanted the freedom/flexibility to be with my family. This led me to start my Bookkeeping business out of my home.
