Ecovative is the mycelium technology company that designs and grows sustainable materials that come straight from nature. Ecovative w... as founded in 2007 by Eben Bayer and Gavin Mclntyre, who met while attending Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as undergraduates. The idea for using mycelium to grow materials was conceived in an Inventors Studio class led by Professor Bert Swersey.
