Camping: Having first hand practical knowledge of outdoor equipment makes working in this space enjoyable. Ive gone through the process as a shopper many times, and love working with outdoor retailers that want to improve. From car camping to ultra light pack setups, experimenting has been enjoyable. Not many ancient traditions still exist today, and taping into that energy is rejuvenating. An amazing reset where time stands still and we remember again what its like to be human. Adventure Travel: From moving to Europe at 21, then to Asia decades later, adventure travel is in my blood. Only when throwing ourselves into the unknown can we really start to know ourselves, come face to face with strengths/weaknesses and learn to be calm in the face of chaos. One particularly challenging experience, was living in a hut on the Arabian Sea in Goa, India. Another was braving the streets of Varanasi during Holi festival, pure craziness when I took this photo. #Vanlife: To me, the outdoor industry is not just the gear we use at play. Its the gear and equipment we use to travel towards the next adventure. In that spirit, I transformed my Honda Element into a camper with custom crafted wood cabinets, convertible bed platform and a sink.
