Ecology Termite and Pest is a pest control business with a conscience. Founded by Luke and Suzy Burgess, we aim to provide Pest Control which is effective and has the least impact on our customers' health and the environment. Our experience in pest control stems from Suzy's father's family Termite Business in Adelaide, Termite Free Naturally. Rober... t Cameron the founder of the business started the business at 60 years of age after losing his life's work, acquiring 3 cattle and sheep properties, which were taken from him when the State Bank went down in SA in the early 1990's. Not one to give up, Robert acquired his pest control license and after working with top people in the field including John French, founder of termite baiting and Clinton Carter, tafe lecturer in Pest Control and long time Pest Control Business Owner established a successful business in Natural Termite Control that in time employed his daughter Suzy, Son Scott, Son-in-law Luke, 3 other men and an office girl. Luke and Suzy left the family business to make room for Suzy's brother to take over and have moved to Mackay to offer a similar service to the people of Queensland. Luke started his career as a chef in Sydney where he met Suzy who was establishing a business in Corporate health and marketing her fathers business in Adelaide. The 2 later were married and moved to Adelaide where Suzy continued marketing for her father's business and Luke joined the business to acquire better hours to raise a family. We are very conscious about the effects of chemicals on people's health and the environment. Suzy has been interested in and worked in natural health since University and chooses to use chemical alternatives around the home and to buy organic food where possible.
