About Eckert Cold Storage
From humble beginnings, Eckert has become the leader in the IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) pepper processing industry. Lee Eckert started the company in 1936 as Eckert-Etienne Engineering Corp., of San Francisco, California, installing refrigeration equipment for breweries. Over time, the company evolved into Eckert Cold Storage and processing became our primary business. Today, we are focused on IQF processing of bell peppers, roasted peppers, jalapenos, poblanos, and cabbage. We are the largest supplier of IQF bell peppers in U.S.A. Based out of Escalon, California in the heart of the fertile San Joaquin Valley, we are still family owned and operated. You can find our peppers in retail products such as stuffed pepper cups, pizza toppings, soups, and salsas for some of the largest food companies in the world.Explore more
