EAC was founded in 1992 and was originally 'Edinburgh Activity Camps', operating activity camps for local school children in Edinburgh during their school holidays. The first international summer centre offering English language teaching opened in 1997. EAC continued to expand throughout the UK, offering International summer schools, and in 2004, E... AC opened its adult language school in Hastings, East Sussex. Having enjoyed a rapid growth period and success, in June 2009, EAC were acquired by TUI Travel PLC. EAC continues to expand and develop, and we are now excited to offer a range of year-round and seasonal junior courses across the UK, as well as a portfolio of adult courses in our Hastings school.
