MARYS TODAY offered a free coffin to the first drunk driver to kill themselves (only the at-fault driver) during the annual Christmas drunk, drugged, and dying season in 2007. We read your ad for the free coffin and we just wanted to say: BRAVO. We had never heard of your newspaper before the ad hit the Internet. After looking through your newspaper online, we learned of your DWI Campaign.My husband is a coffin maker in Nevada. We share a common sadness with others who have lost loved ones to DWI drivers. We lost both of my husbands parents 9 years to a driver who was impaired. He of course walked away from the accident. They were killed instantly. We work very closely with the Every Fifteen Minutes Program here locally. My husband is also a minister and we have a small church.
