As a professional fireman at the busiest station in Seattle I witnessed this first hand. Every day we focused on the team, the "we". This allowed us to accomplish super human feats regardless of the environment or complexity o... f task. It was never about me or my skills, it was always about "we", the team, the collective difference makers. The same is true in lending. Getting a mortgage has never been more complicated. To ensure we get it right (every time) and that you receive an amazing client experience we focus on a few key core values and believe in the power of WE. Work hard, move fast, be honest, embrace change and act like family. These are our beliefs. As a one man band I was constantly being pulled in 50 different directions. It required that I shift energy and time into areas I can truly say I wasn't the best man for the job. That was just how mortgages were done "back in the day". Unfortunately this is still the case for most in our business. Most focus on being the "expert" in all areas out of pride or a lack of knowing there is a different way.
