As Maun grew into the thriving business hub in the north of Botswana that it now is, the need for regular and reliable transport services between Johannesburg and Maun increased, which resulted in the establishment of Dung Beetle Logistics in 2008 to meet this need. Dung Beetle Logistics initially commenced trading as providers of transport service... s between Johannesburg and Maun from small rented premises in the Sedia Ward of Maun. The business has now grown to the extent that it provides transport, logistics, consolidation and distribution services, managing the flow of goods for its customers between South Africa and various parts of Botswana. It occupies its own warehouse premises situated in the new Matshwane Ward of Maun and has a presence in both Kasane and Francistown (Botswana) and in Johannesburg (South Africa) and has its own fleet of trucks and other vehicles to provide most of the services that it offers. Dung Beetle Logistics is expected to further grow its fleet over the next few years and to expand the geographic area within which it operates so as to cover Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique.
