Dufferin Tile

The goal of Dufferin tile is to help people see that ceramic tile is not only a viable option, but is often their best option. Ceramic tile has certain advantages over other materials, namely aesthetics, durability, and easy maintenance. For this reason, ceramic tile should be seen as your first choice. If it is seen that the cost is comparable to... other options then ceramic tile should be the only consideration. This has always been Dufferin tile's objective; to not only provide better quality ceramic tile at a lower price than its competitors, but also to provide ceramic tiles at a lower price than other products. As Dufferin tile has evolved into becoming an importer of marble and granite, and as the manufacturers have introduced porcelain tile, the philosophy of the best quality at the lowest prices has been applied to these products as well. Dufferin Tile came into existence in the early 60s. Back then flooring for the most part was limited to vinyl. The use of ceramic tile was essentially limited to shower and bathtub enclosures, while the use of natural stone for interior applications was almost unheard of in Canada. Yet, from this humble beginning, as an outfit for the most part doing only installation, Dufferin Tile would strive and persist, until it reached the point where it would become widely known as the place to go to. A place to choose from a large selection of good quality items at very fair prices. Remembering their roots, Dufferin Tile still does installation today, only it is now ceramic instead of vinyl. In the 1970s, as Canadians became more aware of the quality that ceramic offered, they started to show interest in applications that went beyond the shower or bathtub.
