The business began almost a century ago when our grandfather traded turquoise which was strong and successful until they became unfashionable. We then turned to trading all types of precious stones such as rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and diamonds. In 1983, a close friend who was dealing pearls asked us to sell his products and the timing could not... have been any better. Our largest customer had a need for a pearl supplier and we became the middle man selling our friends' pearls to our customers. The demand for pearls at this time sky rocketed and our friend stopped importing pearls so we began traveling to buy cultured pearls directly from Japan. Over the next two years, we began investing more time and energy in pearls and eventually they became our sole focus instead of colored gem stones. It was a very easy conversion and unlike colored stones, there was no bad inventory. Since 1985 we have produced and distributed only pearls and have been growing ever since. Our secret being that we travel to pearl farms in the far east and south seas and buy everything first hand. Our buyers travel to Japan, China, Australia, and Tahiti on a regular basis to collect the most beautiful pearls which are then brought to our offices where they are sorted, cleaned, and strung to perfection. We have an extensive collection of pearls including cultured pearls from Japan, freshwater pearls from China, and south sea p earls from Australia, south sea pearls from Indonesia, and the Philippians. We offer our products in all shapes, sizes, and colors as well as the best prices available anywhere.
