Since 1992, DSGN Associates has provided architectural, planning, interior design, and graphic design services to stellar clients around the world. Our project types are diverse and include single and multi-family residential, retail and mixed-use centers, offices and work places, civic facilities, and urban planning. Our work includes both new con... struction and adaptive reuse of pre-war and post-war historic buildings. We are not a design cult pursuing the singular design vision of one person. Instead, we plan and design each commission to be a specific reflection of the goals, aspirations, and priorities of our clients and - if they will not occupy the projects - of their customers, clients or users. We are good at this and are happy to have won more than 50 design awards, not only from our peers in the American Institute of Architects, but from numerous industry, civic, and sustainability organizations. Our principals and staff creatively sweat the nuts and bolts of each project - not only how a building goes together, but how much it costs, when it needs to be complete, and how it affects its context and the environment. We are experts in green design and we hold lots of green credentials, but we don't offer sustainable design as a separate service, believing instead that it should be an integral part of each of our commissions. And, finally, we strive to offer a humane, balanced, and responsive practice to our clients, our community, and our staff. Great design can be hard, but it should also be rewarding and it should also be fun. Our clients seem to enjoy working with us, as 96% of our current workload is from repeat clients in both the private and public sectors.
