A few years ago, I had to give up alcohol for 6 months due to experiences severe migraines. Although giving up drinking alcohol wasn't a problem; what I really struggled with, was where to go and what to do? so that I wasn't confronted by alcohol or intoxicated people all the time. It made me realise that by not being able to drink, I become extremely aware of how our society revolves predominately around a drinking culture. Where most aspects of our spare time of socialising involves going somewhere for a drink, whether it be a bar in the city, your local in a suburb or to a country pub out in rural England. Instead of being a recluse and staying in, as I didn't want to go to any drinking establishments.
