Lesli Baker is the founder and president of Drill Baby Drill, LLC. Drill Baby Drill provides consulting services for oil and gas operators in the states of Kansas and Missouri. Lesli holds a bachelors of science degree in Business from Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. While attending Baker University Lesli worked full-time for Farmers Insu... rance Groups regional office in the sales and marketing department. After graduating, Lesli was employed by Johnson & Johnson and began a career in the medical and pharmaceutical industry for the next ten years. As the medical industry changed, Lesli decided to return to the family business she grew up in. Lesli and her three siblings are third generation operators in Eastern Kansas. Lesli worked for her brothers drilling company for about a year, there she recognized an increasing amount of federal and state compliance for small mom and pop operators and decided to open Drill Baby Drill in April 2011. Lesli has attended oil and gas related classes at the state level since 2011 and continues to build valuable relationships with state agencies to better understand changes in regulations. Lesli has been an EKOGA board member since 2012 and a board member of KIOGA and Kansas Strong in 2018. Lesli takes great pride in being a part of these organizations because of what they accomplish on behalf of Kansas operators on a daily basis.
