Dr.Gurova

Dr.Gurova is a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician who has been practicing in Texas since 2003. She received her medical training at Moscow Medical Academy and completed her internal medicine residency at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Dr.Gurova comes from a family of physicians, including her mother who is a cardiologist, and her... father who is a neurologist. Dr.Gurova had received her undergraduate degree in nursing and worked as a registered nurse for three years before entering Moscow Medical Academy , the oldest and the largest medical school in Russia. After graduation from the medical school Dr.Gurova took a research position at the Moscow Medical Academy. In 1995 Dr.Gurova was sent as a member of an exchange program to the University of Texas in Austin . After the exchange program was over, Dr.Gurova decided to stay in the USA and pursue her professional career in this country. She took NCLEX-RN exam and received a Registered Nurse license. She had worked as a Registered Nurse in a rural hospital in West Texas for almost three years before she entered Texas Tech University in Lubbock. In 2003 Dr.Gurova completed her internal medicine residency at Texas Tech University and moved to Cleburne to join a group practice in Cleburne. In 2006 she set up her solo practice in Cleburne. Dr.Gurova lives in Burleson with her husband and family. Her husband Yuri is a journalist and historian by education and a graphic designer and artist by training. He designed the Cleburne Heritage Monument . This website will introduce our practice to you and make it easier to serve your needs. Dr.Gurova's favorite hobby is indoor skydiving. She enjoys learning new body flight skills and flying for fun in the vertical wind tunnel. Indoor skydiving, or bodyflight, is a fun and exciting experience in the wind tunnel that simulates a parachute jump free fall without having to jump out of an airplane.
