Dragonfly Creations is a small business that focuses on quality versus quantity. Founded and funded by the Owner/Creator/Artist, Janice, with a bit of help and encouragement from her husband Bob (the 'Official Sniffer' and sometimes "Namer of Soaps") in 2017. Starting as just another 'hobby', Janice soon realized upon sharing handcrafted soaps as g... ifts to friends and family, that she couldn't keep up with what became 'repeat orders'. So she sat down and worked out a plan. With her husband, family and friends encouraging her, she gathered the supplies needed and in July of 2017 attended her first local festival. Her simple glycerin-based soaps were a hit! Soon realizing that she wanted more control of what goes into her soaps, Janice made the jump to cold processed soap-making. Loving the creativity that comes with cold process soap and having the ability to add colors, fragrances, play with different butters and oils definitely filled Janice's artistic and creative side, thus the Artisan Soap line was created. Janice then looked into a soap that was created by using nothing but what nature provided. By using natural ingredients such as oatmeal, charcoal, seaweed, dried ground herbs/plants and different types of clay from around the world to create a soap that can be used for different skin types but still be a luxurious bar of soap was the goal. The 100% All Natural line of soap, with no synthetic fragrances, no micas to color, just what nature provides was added to the line up. We make our soaps in small batches to ensure the freshness of the ingredients and we take pride in the products we create right down to the packaging.
