Surfing is the most blissful experience you can have on this planet, a taste of Heaven. Downwind Surf and Paddleboard Company, located at 29th Ave South in Myrtle Beach, has the best surf break on the Grand Strand! Downwind Watersports, our affiliate partner, has been in Myrtle Beach since 1981. We at Downwind have spent our lives learning the way of life that is ocean living. We grew up surfing at Springmaid Beach, and it is a dream come true to open a surf school on the very break where we learned. We are excited about the adventure ahead of us teaching the sport we love to people who share a mutual pull to the surf lifestyle. We teach our students a sport, but also to respect the ocean and the surf culture to be able to give them what we hope is an awesome adventure and the beginning of a lifetime of good memories with the ocean.Explore more
