Double Bogey Creations

When I was young, my best friend was my stuffed bear, Double Bogey. We went on countless adventures and had the best of times! My mission with Double Bogey Creations is to make stuffed animals that will become your best friend for the adventures life brings. I got inspired to make stuffed animals after "accidentally" watching a Project Runway marat... hon. I went to JoAnn Fabric, bought way too many materials, and managed to sew a tiny giraffe. After that first animal, I was hooked and still fall in love with each one I make. Every stuffed animal I create is handmade, unique, and special. Pat grew up very lucky. In addition to being blessed with a head of vibrantly orange hair, his great grandparents knew a pretty big celebrity: The Easter Bunny. In fact, one of the Easter Bunny's workshops was located in their backyard in New Canaan, CT! While Pat was never allowed to actually go inside the shed at the far end of the property bordering the woods, he swears that he could see bunny ears in the window from time to time. Having such a close tie to an international icon can have a big influence on a child. Luckily, Pat didn't let it get to his head while he grew up in New Jersey, but he always knew that he, like the Easter Bunny, was really good at arts and crafts. From a young age, Pat could be found making some sort of mess experimenting with glitter glue, popsicle sticks, and lanyards. It was this deep passion that was re-awoken as an adult to start Double Bogey Creations. By day, Pat works in development at Framingham State University and raises money for scholarships and program funds to create opportunities for students, who otherwise might not be able to afford college. After work and on select weekend days, Pat can be found in his work space in his apartment in Natick, MA creating friendly and soft stuffed animals for all to enjoy!Read More
