YARD's aim is to create innovative and exciting new concepts for Kids.... of all ages! Founder Dominic Yard has spent 5 years learning his trade at 2 highly regarded toy inventing studios, Play On Design & Fuse London Ltd where he invented items which were licensed to such brands as Hot Wheels, Polly Pocket and Tech Deck and worked on concepts for... many of the other major toy brands. In the last year Dominic expanded his experience as Head of Design at the London based giftware company Spinning Hat, where he managed a team of designers and co-ordinated the manufacture in the Far East and delivered 25 new items from blank canvas to in store in under a year. YARD is perfectly positioned in the creative East London hub.
