For 2012, Sigurds revenue was $168 Million US dollars. Having acquired a small competitor -Meicer during Q3, Sigurd now operates from four factories in Taiwan and one in China. The total installed base of ATE is now almost 700 systems roughly distributed evenly between Wafer Sort and Final Test. This base of ATE spans the spectrum from the latest s... ystems from Advantest, Teradyne and LTX as well as some locally Taiwanese made specialty systems. Sigurd has approximately 2,000 employees. Sigurd continues to offer test program development services for small pin count analog, power , RF devices, as well as for primarily digital ICs or wafer sort programs and Memory. These services are coupled with manufacturing. The test development service effectively offers the customer a very good deal on test development in exchange for obtaining their production business on these new devices. In Assembly, Sigurd has expanded their offering of leaded packages and sensors for motion, proximity and gesture through the acquisition of Meicer, a small Taiwanese assembly house. This acquisition has also added additional strength to the assembly team. Copper wire is now available in most assembly types. Increasingly MSL 1 in addition to MSL 3 moisture level packages are offered. Automotive certification has also been added since my last update. Sigurd will also assemble small lots of production quality parts for pretty much any open tooled assembly in their portfolio. Cycle time is generally a couple of weeks. We also offer WLCSP processing including RDL and bumping combined with testing for full turnkey service here as well. Each of the five factories are bonded, allowing Sigurd to provide its customers with drop ship services.
