Our staff is here to assist you with any needs you may have. Dr. Zetoony is board certified in pulmonary, critical care, sleep and internal medicine. She completed her undergraduate training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her combined internship and internal medicine residency at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. She then completed a pulmonary and critical care fellowship in Michigan. She decided to take an additional year completing a sleep medicine fellowship in New Jersey at the University of Medicine and Dentistry before returning to Florida to practice. She is married and has two children and a dog. What is a Pulmonary Specialist? A pulmonary specialist is a physician who treats diseases of the lungs; such as, emphysema, asthma, pneumonia, etc. They are also involved in the treatment of critically ill patients and also patients with sleeping disorders. A pulmonary disease specialist is required to complete three years of training in internal medicine and two additional years of studying pulmonary disease.
