Before setting up Disrupt Vidiyo, Abdullah was the manager of the Digital Department at the Alaraby Television where he is building its digital operation - having set up four main units; the Video-On-Demand ecosystem, the website, social media and the online video production unit. He was the founding Editorial Lead at AJ+ in San Francisco and later moved to Qatar to set-up the Arabic section of the channel. In this role, Abdullah was responsible for building creative teams to innovate pioneering ways of storytelling.
