About Discovery
Discovery is an educational initiative designed for local secondary school STEM students, created through a partnership between University of Toronto graduate student instructors and secondary school educators. The program integrates into the curriculum at partner high schools, engaging students in immersive, inquiry-based projects that take place in university labs. With a focus on hands-on learning in physics, biology, and chemistry, Discovery aims to build students' curiosity and readiness for post-secondary studies in STEM. Over its 10 years of operation, the initiative has impacted over 2100 students and involved more than 340 volunteer mentors.Explore more
