My art revolves around the topics of life, death and time. Each artwork, in some way or another, represents one of the three key themes in a deep, colourful wrapping. The concept of time and its surrounding mysteries fascinate me. Communicating these topics through the form of digital art can bring up even more incomprehensible questions. It makes... you think, doesnt it? And what else is the point of living, if not thinking? I spent most of my time drawing, painting and sketching as a child, seeing the world around me as a huge canvas and constantly looking for details I would change in it. Shifted to photo manipulation and video editing before I was 11. In 2016 I began learning CGI from scratch and I keep studying and developing myself in my spare time until Im satisfied with the results. disconnect.london is a growing collection of all digital art pieces I made during the last few years and theres a ton more to come. I use available technological tools to inject uniqueness into my works. This gives me the flexibility I need to experiment with various art styles. This can take anywhere from a few hours to days or even weeks sometimes, depending on the details. In the end, sometimes I actually end up being satisfied with the results. HOW DID YOU START OFF? I wanted to learn everything by myself without tutorials. Hence, the first 1.5 years were spent on purely experimenting and learning of various workflows, UIs, functions and programs. I did not release any renders in that time period. After about a year and a half I felt confident enough to start putting my stuff out there and it became disconnect.london. The key is pratice and continuity. Not at the moment, mainly due to time limitations. Trying to spend most of my time to create stuff instead.
