Andrew has held a board position with Trafigura since October 2010. He spent almost 20 years with Rio Tinto, one of the worlds leading mining companies, the last ten as a member of the Executive Committee with responsibility for Global Communications and External Relations. An economist by background with a PhD in economics from Cambridge University, he has also worked as a development economist, academic, and economic advisor to governments for the World Bank and other international agencies. Christopher first joined the board of Direct Nickel Ltd as a non-executive director in 2011 and was appointed CEO in 2016. He has over 25 years experience as in-house counsel for a number of international companies specialising in M&A, contract negotiation, project financing and dispute resolution. From 2001 to 2012 he led a team in the implementation of one of the worlds largest environmental remediation projects. He is a qualified solicitor in both England and New South Wales. Orestes is a chemical engineer with over 40 years experience in the mining and metallurgical industries specifically, the processing of laterite ore.
